Mighty No. 9, the recently announced spiritual successor to the Mega Man series being developed by Keiji Inafune and a team of veteran Mega Man devs has passed it’s funding goal of $900,000 with 29 days to spare. Fans of Inafune and the Mega Man have flocked to this new project, helping to push the kickstarter past it’s funding goal and shortly after , past the $1,000,000 mark, which should put it on track to meet some of the stretch goals before too long. Some of the stretch goals are still a mystery, with the highest one currently being at $2.5 million to make console versions of the game in addition to the main PC version.
