As the celebrations for Sonic’s 25 anniversary start to get underway, SEGA have announced the 25th Anniversary Humble Bundle, featuring a wide range of games from the series, from the original Mega Drive classic, all the way up to the recent Sonic Lost World.
Released alongside the 3DS version, Sonic Lost World also arrived on the Wii U signalling Sonic’s first main series title released on the console. Other than sharing the same name, story and overall style, Lost World on the Wii U is distinctly different from its portable cousin.
Riding high on the success of Sonic Colours, Generations and to some extent, Sonic 4, many thought that the problem of glitchy, mediocre Sonic titles was a thing of the past and the infamous ‘Sonic Cycle’ had seen its day.
Earlier today, Sega released a new extended trailer for Sonic Lost World detailing the main group of bosses in the game, the Deadly Six. At just under 5 minutes long, each character is featured along with snippets from their boss battle stages.
Earlier this year, SEGA and Nintendo announced Sonic Lost World as part of a special collaboration between the two companies, which sees 3 exclusive Sonic titles coming to Nintendo platforms.
