Earlier today, Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth 1 was announced for European and American release later this year on PS Vita. With the popularity the series has seen amongst the fans of the games, this probably didn’t come as a great surprise to many. Although, with this newest entry in the series, Idea Factory International will be publishing the title, rather than NIS America, who localised the previous games since the original release of Hyperdimension Neptunia on the PS3. Re;Birth 1 is a remake of the first title in the Hyperdimension Neptunia series, released back in 2011. This new version reworks the original, adding new game mechanics, additional event scenes and characters and an improved battle system, lifted from the recent Neptunia Victory game. This could be a good game to pick up for those who were not particularly impressed with the gameplay of the original, but liked the subsequent releases, MK2 a & V, which both vastly improved the game experience.

Along with this changeover in who will be bringing the games to the west, the title’s logo has been given a makeover, differentiating it from the NIS America released games:

In their announcement, Idea Factory International set a release window of late summer both in Europe and North America for the PS Vita. No details about the release medium have been confirmed so far, but we would hope that it sees a simultaneous release as physical copies and a PSN download. More details will be made available soon.

book, the trio embark on an extraordinary journey across four different nations on a quest to save the
