One of the stranger surprises of the Microsoft show today was the announcement and immediate release of ‘Super Ultra Dead Rising 3 Arcade Remix Hyper Edition EX +α ‘ a new DLC mode from Dead Rising 3 featuring Nick & Annie for DR3, along with Chuck Greene and Frank West from Dead Rising 1 & 2.

The soundtrack from Super Dead Rising 3 Arcade Remix is now available for download in its entirety for free from record label Sumthing Else Music Works, featuring 35 tracks of original and remixed themes from games like Mega Man X, Final Fight and Rival Schools. The soundtrack is free to download on Sumthing Else‘s site and is definitely worth a listen if you enjoy remixes of retro Capcom games.

Stripping out any semblance of a story or plot,  the new mode focuses on multiplier arcade action and leans heavily on Capcom’s extensive back catalog of series and characters. Super Dead Rising 3 Arcade looks to be aimed at triggering long-time Capcom fan’s nostalgia in this cosplay filled adventure, brimming with costumes and references to a ton of Capcom games both old and new.
