With Bandai Namco now having an official store in London with the Bandai Namco Cross Store in Camden Town, there was a noticeable absence of one part of Bandai Namco’s portfolio in the form of Gundam. Elswhere in London, in the famous Hamley’s Toy Store on Regent Street, Bandai Namco have brought Gunpla model kits to the ‘world’s oldest toy store’ with a Gunpla area in the stores basement level, along with an eye-catching new window display to advertise this new addition to the store’s repetore.

Once you go downstairs and towards the gaming area of the basement area, you’ll be greeted by a large RX-78 statue along with a selection of Gunpla model kits (as well as a few other non-Gundam model kits from Bandai Namco) on the surrounding shelves and display units. Like some of the items available to purchase in the main Bandai Namco Cross Store in Camden, the prices on these model kits are a bit more than you’d might expect if you are familiar with other stores or websites where you could buy Gundam Model kits in the UK, but for someone who is unfamiliar with those places, having Gunpla easily available to purchase in person in a central London location might be convenient enough.
