Following Idea Factory International’s latest set of game announcements at Anime Expo 2023, a big surprise was the reveal that Neptunia Sisters vs Sisters is being ported to Xbox and will launch in 2024. It’s kind of poetic that the younger sister-obsessed Vert is the in game personification of the Xbox platform and the first game to release there is the one focusing on the younger sisters / goddess candidates. It’s a fairly common thing to hear that Xbox doesn’t have many games from Japanese developers because the customers that buy Xbox consoles aren’t interested in those games, but if most Japanese titles already skip the Xbox completely, it would be a bit harder for anyone looking for those games to choose an Xbox if they only plan to buy and play one console. It’s been great to see more support from Japanese developers and publishers in recent years like the Persona & Yakuza series, and now Neptunia is also making the jump.
